Pot plants don't die on holidays because nobody cares — they die because nobody's there. This sits in the soil and releases water slowly through a terracotta cone, so the plant draws what it needs over days rather than getting a flood and then nothing.
You fill it through the beak and the clear body shows how much is left, so you can tell at a glance whether it needs topping up.
Specifications
| Material | Clear PS body with red terracotta cone |
|---|---|
| Size | 16.6 x 7 cm |
| Refilling | Through the beak opening |
| Installation | Push the cone into the potting soil |
| Pack | 1 per pack |
Styling notes
Push the cone in close to the root ball rather than at the edge of the pot, or the water seeps into soil the plant isn't using. Bigger pots will want two. They read as an ornament as much as a tool, so they're fine left in a pot on a windowsill rather than hidden — which also means you actually remember to refill them.
